The OSCE-organized seminar on transport logistics was held in Ashgabat on September 22-23, Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan said in a press release on Thursday.
The online seminar was organized within the framework of the project “Promoting regional economic connectivity and development of regional logistic and transport infrastructure”.
The two-day seminar gathered representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, transport agencies and other relevant departments of the country.
During the seminar, international experts from Georgia and the Russian Federation presented effective mechanisms and digital tools in the transport, transit and customs management, familiarizing the participants with international best practices for their implementation.
The participants also discussed opportunities for the development of a seamless multimodal transport and the implementation of the single window system.
