Enterprise for the production of sterile dressings in Dashoguz city has produced more than 7.5 million manats worth of products since the beginning of the year, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Friday.
The plant, located in Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz velayat, produces around 50 types of products, including gauze, plaster and elastic bandages of various sizes, adhesive plasters, tampons, elastic stockings for varicose veins, knee pads and ankles.
The enterprise’s disposable surgical gowns and overalls made of nonwoven fabrics, as well as bleached gauze fabrics are also in high demand.
According to the report, modern machinery of leading companies from Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, France and other countries installed at the enterprise allows it to promptly respond to the demand of the country's medical institutions and, expanding the range of its products, consistently increase production volumes.
Enterprise for the production of sterile dressings in Dashoguz was launched in 2014. The company has installed more than 100 units of production equipment and is capable of producing 13 million packages of finished products annually.
