During the Thursday meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Deputy Prime Minister Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the preparation by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, together with the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, of the draft Strategy of Turkmenistan on the management and reform of enterprises with state participation for the coming five-year period and the Action Plan for its implementation.
According to the TDH news agency’s report, the document, in accordance with the tasks defined in the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025, provides for concrete steps aimed at increasing the share of the private sector in the innovative development of the country, expanding the range of state-private partnership, accelerating privatization of state properties and effective management of their activities.
The Action Plan for the implementation of the strategy includes revision of legislative acts on the management and reform of enterprises with state participation and the adoption of new regulatory documents, the improvement and intensification of organizing the activities of stock exchanges in accordance with the international practice.
Having approved the results of the work carried out in this direction, the Turkmen President gave the Deputy Prime Minister the relevant instructions to finalize the draft of the Strategy of Turkmenistan on the management and reform of enterprises with state participation for the upcoming five-year period and the Action Plan for its implementation.
