President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Friday congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on the New Year 2021, TDH news agency reports.
According to the Eastern calendar, 2021 is considered the year of the Ox. The family that keeps the cow does not know the need, because it brings wealth to the house. Therefore, the year of the Ox is considered a year that brings benefits, the Head of State noted in his address.
“Despite the difficult situation in the world, in 2020, with our inspired work, we managed to achieve stable development of the national economy, launched many undertakings of state importance for the benefit of the people and the country,” President Berdimuhamedov said.
According to the President, peace and trust are the main values of humanity, its wealth. On the initiative of Turkmenistan, the UN General Assembly adopted an important document - Resolution "International Year of Peace and Trust, 2021".
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also recalled that in the new year Turkmenistan marks the 30th Anniversary of sacred independence.
“And may the New Year become for Earth the Year of peace, prosperity, great success, abundance! May the New Year bring comfort and cohesion to your family home! May happy days and prosperous life last for centuries!” Turkmen Leader Berdimuhamedov said in conclusion of his address.
