Turkmenistan’s Aýdyat Maksat Individual Enterprise exported 140 tons of mung bean, including 40 tons to UAE's Dubai, 60 tons to Pakistan and 40 tons to Afghanistan, in March of this year.
In an interview with the Business Turkmenistan, the head of the company Agamyrat Allayev said Aýdyat Maksat received 300 hectares of land for a period of 99 years in the Kerki etrap of the country’s eastern velayat of Lebap. The company grows such grains as millet, mung bean and sesame on it’s land plot, and will start growing sorghum in the future.
The enterprise has also exported 100 tons of millet to Afghanistan and 150 tons to Iraq in February of this year. The company also exports its products to Uzbekistan.
Founded in 2012, the company presently grows 5,000 mulberry trees and plans to grow silkworm cocoons in the future. Aýdyň Maksat IE also has plans to supply packaged millet and mung bean to the local market.
