Foreign Businesses Buy Products Worth $49 Million Via Turkmen Exchange
Companies from Russia, the UK, the UAE, Turkey, Malta and China bought polyethylene and hydrotreated diesel fuel.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $49.554 million.

Businesses based in the UAE, Turkey, China, Malta and Afghanistan purchased gasoline, aviation kerosene, petroleum bitumen produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), the country’s official media reported on Saturday.

Business circles of Russia, the UK, the UAE, Turkey, Malta and China bought polyethylene and hydrotreated diesel fuel.

Companies from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan bought colorless sheet glass, one-colored and jacquard terry products, and cotton yarn for foreign currency.

Representatives of the business circles of Switzerland, the UAE and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn worth 8 million manats.

State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 34 transactions last week.
