Export Trades at Turkmen State Exchange Exceed $21 Million
Foreign companies purchased petroleum products, terry products and cotton yarn for foreign currency.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $21.142 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses from China, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel, petroleum bitumen, base oil and petroleum coke produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Saturday.

Companies based in Russia and Kyrgyzstan bought terry products and cotton yarn for foreign currency.

The UAE-based businesses purchased a tea drink with licorice root for over 100 thousand manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased polypropylene and packaging film produced by the TCOR, and hand-made carpets and cotton fiber worth over 37.213 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 171 transactions last week.
