Government officials of Turkmenistan held talks with Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Murat Zhurabekov in Ashgabat, MIR TV and Radio company reported on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the Kazakh Minister expressed interest in the experience of Turkmenistan in the implementation of petrochemical projects. The parties also discussed the supply of Turkmen lubricants to Kazakhstan, according to the report.
“We discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of the fuel and energy complex. In particular, we are interested in the experience of Turkmenistan in the implementation of petrochemical projects,” Murat Jurabekov noted.
According to the data of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan in January-April 2021 increased its exports to Kazakhstan by 99.2% compared to the same period last year.
