Batch of John Deere tractors and equipment arrived in Turkmenistan for private agricultural producers, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) reported on Thursday.
The new batch is part of a large supply for entrepreneurs who can purchase the machinery from the American company using a bank loan.
The arrival of the new machinery was marked with the solemn ceremony organized in Ashgabat.
Currently, thousands of John Deere machines are operating in agricultural production in Turkmenistan and they have firmly won the trust of machine operators, according to the Union.
John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co. KG is presently working on the implementation of the second stage of the new supply of high-tech equipment to the Turkmen buyers. Since October last year, when the contract entered into force, more than $25 million worth of machinery has already been supplied to Turkmen entrepreneurs, with the rest of it on the way or in the process of being shipped to Turkmenistan.
