Interest in Turkmenistan has been on the rise in South Korea lately and it hopes for an active business partnership with Ashgabat, the Head of the Korea - Central Asia Friendship Association Lee Ok Ryung said in an article published on the Neytralnyi Turkmenistan newspaper on Thursday.
Lee Ok Ryung said Seoul expresses interest in participating in economic projects in Turkmenistan, such as desertification prevention, renewable energy, gardening through smart farms.
According to her, Turkmenistan has rich natural resources and high potential in all aspects.
She also added that the Association will continue to strive to further enrich and strengthen friendship with Turkmenistan in different fields.
Korea - Central Asia Friendship Association is a public diplomatic organization created to strengthen mutual understanding through economic, cultural exchanges between South Korea and the countries of Central Asia.
