President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and South Korea by the end of the year, the Kun.uz news website reported on Wednesday citing the Head of Uzbekistan briefing on the results of his recent visit to Russia.
The Uzbek President will leave for Turkmenistan on Sunday, then to Kazakhstan and South Korea.
“We must quickly attract investors to Uzbekistan. We must quickly create conditions for them,” President Mirziyoyev said commenting his upcoming visits.
The head of Uzbekistan visited Russia on November 19. This was the first foreign visit of the President after being elected for a second term. The visit resulting in the signing of 18 bilateral documents on cooperation.
The President of Uzbekistan previously visited Turkmenistan in August this year to attend the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia. The recent official visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Uzbekistan took place in early October.
