Turkmen President Pardons 514 Prisoners Ahead of Qadr Night
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the pardoned citizens to serve Turkmenistan and enjoy the fruits of their labor by their honest work.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the online cabinet meeting on Friday on occasion of the Qadr Night signed a Decree on pardoning 514 Turkmen citizens serving jail terms.

Addressing the Minister of Defense, Secretary of the State Security Council Begench Gundogdiyev, the Head of State instructed to take measures together with the heads of law enforcement agencies for the rapid release of prisoners and their speedy return to home, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.

The Turkmen President also instructed the hyakims (governors) of provinces, districts and cities, and other officials to take measures to provide pardoned citizens with employment.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the pardoned citizens to make a worthy contribution to the large-scale activities carried out in the country, to serve Turkmenistan and enjoy the fruits of their labor by their honest work.
