The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Tuesday trades registered deals on the procurement of gasoline, diesel aviation kerosene and high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
Businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased more than 700 tons of straight-run gasoline for $432.8 thousand. The cost of the oil product amounted to $596.25 per ton, a decrease of 14.6% compared to the previous auction, the SCRMET announced on Wednesday.
The Afghan company concluded a deal for the supply of 800 tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for $831.8 thousand. The price of the product decreased by 9% compared to the previous auction and amounted to $1,039.75 per ton.
The business circles of Turkey and Afghanistan also purchased a total of 10,000 tons of A-95 gasoline. The total amount of transactions amounted to $8.8 million. The price of the fuel decreased by 6% and amounted to $880.25 per ton.
Businesses from Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased 9.6 thousand tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene for a total of $10.6 million at the auction. The cost of the oil product amounted to $1,107.50 per ton, which is 6.7% cheaper compared to previous auctions.
For the domestic market, a local entrepreneur purchased high-density polyethylene of brand T60-475-119 for a total of 3.9 million manats.
The SCRMET on Tuesday registered a total of 25 transactions for $20.6 million and 3.9 million manats.
Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $3.2 million.
