Four four-story residential buildings with a total of 80 apartments are being erected in the city of Dashoguz, the administrative center of Turkmenistan’s northern province of Dashoguz, by Derkar Economic Society.
The new buildings, adjacent to each other, are located in the city center, at the intersection of S. Turkmenbashi Avenue and Alp Arslan Street, the country’s official media reported on Tuesday.
The company currently carries out external and internal finishing work in three of them and continues bricklaying in the fourth building. The buildings will feature spacious apartments with high ceilings – 330 cm. The largest apartment has a total area of 229 square meters.
The lower floors of the buildings will be allotted for commercial premises. The houses will blend in harmoniously with the architectural ensemble of the residential and office buildings that have already been constructed nearby, according to the report.
Presently in Dashoguz, the areas that are empty or have been emptied of old buildings, including those in the central part of the city, are being actively developed with new residential buildings or private commercial establishments. Most of the constructions in the northern province of the country are carried out by private businesses.
