Turkmen companies Pajarla and Çemenli Ýaýla establish the production of chlorella. This is the first such production in the country.
Chlorella is a genus of unicellular green algae that is widely used in agriculture, pond cleaning, cosmetology, and reduction, processing and storage of industrial emissions, Shamyrat Hydyrov, Director of Pajarla, stated in his article published in the Rysgal newspaper on Monday.
Chlorella is also used as a feed for cattle and small cattle, all kinds of birds (chickens, ostriches, partridges, poultry), as well as bees, silkworms, fish, horses and dogs, affecting their immunity, to achieve positive results and increase the productivity of birds and livestock.
"We are pleased that private enterprises Pajarla and Çemenli Ýaýla carried out pilot production of chlorella, received technical conditions and relevant documents," Hydyrov said.
Chlorella algae were discovered in 1890 by microbiologist Martinus Beijerinck. To this day, scientists continue to study chlorella.
