The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week amounted to more than $17.775 million, the country’s official media reported on Monday.
For foreign currency, the businesses from Afghanistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan procured ECO-93 gasoline. The Turkish and Kyrgyz businesses bought denim fabric, dyed and jacquard terry products.
The companies from the United Arab Emirates bought cotton yarn for 7.15 million manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 20 transactions last week.
