The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Tuesday trades registered five deals for the procurement of hydrotreated diesel fuel and portland cement amounting to more than $9.51 million.
Businesses from Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates purchased 9.9 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for a total of $9.16 million. The ton of the fuel sold during the trades amounted to $925.55, according to the SCRMET.
The business from Afghanistan also purchased 9,880 tons of portland cement worth $335.68 thousand. The price of each ton of this product, sold at the SCRMET auction, amounted to $36.
Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $33.72 million.
Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
