National Leader of Turkmen people and Chairman of Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Rifat Hisarciklioglu, Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye on Tuesday. During the meeting the sides discussed increasing the trade turnover volume between the two countries and enhancing cooperation in the direction.
Halk Maslahaty Chairman emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation in the field of ecology, noting that President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan is making a valuable contribution to addressing important problems of modernity, the official Turkmen media reported.
Rifat Hisarciklioglu expressed President Erdogan's heartfelt gratitude to Turkmen National Leader for his support for the country's environmental initiative. The Chairman of Türkiye 's Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges also expressed gratitude for the favorable conditions created for Turkish businesses in Turkmenistan.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of maintaining the Turkmen-Turkish dialogue in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
The sides discussed prospects for developing partnerships between the two countries' business structures and the importance of implementing joint projects in food and pharmaceutical industries. Moreover, the parties agreed that Turkmenistan is working hard to strengthen small and medium-sized businesses and integrate them into the international community.
Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized the importance of sharing the experience with Turkish business circles in laying the water supply system and acquiring the necessary products.
According to Rifat Hisarciklioglu, Türkiye has established production of pipes for water supply systems that meet modern quality, environmental standards and are suitable for use in Turkmenistan's climatic conditions.
At the end of the meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye Rifat Hisarciklioglu congratulated each other and both nations on the approaching holiday - Oraza Bayram - and expressed confidence in further strengthening cooperation.
