Afghanistan's Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Mawlavi Ataullah Omari met with Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Hoja Ovezov, Bakhtar news agency reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, the sides discussed cooperation in agriculture, including horticulture.
“We can cooperate in many sectors including launching a campaign against locust outbreak, export and import of livestock and agricultural products, mechanization, capacity building in the agricultural, and sharing each agriculture research,” said Minister Omari to the Ambassador of Turkmenistan.
Ambassador Ovezov affirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to collaborate in the implementation of plans and exchange of ideas in the agriculture and livestock sectors.
