In the days of preparation for sowing winter wheat, Turkmenistan’s northern province of Dashoguz received around 70 new plowing tractors. These tractors will be used for the first time in sowing wheat, which will start in the coming days, the country’s official media reported on Tuesday.
These high-capacity tractors have been distributed to the districts of Dashoguz province, according to the report.
This year, the province’farmers will plant 145 thousand hectares of wheat, with plans to harvest 265 thousand tons of crops.
The sowing season will see the operation of 2,300 light, 520 sowing and more than 650 plowing tractors in the province.
At present, landowners, specialists of organizations and enterprises are working to fully prepare agricultural machinery and complete sowing of winter wheat in a short time and efficiently.
