An exhibition of calligraphy and gilding opened on Thursday at the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan. The exhibition also featured copies of the Quran.
According to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan, the opening ceremony was attended by the director of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, as well as professors and students from the Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, along with Embassy staff and media representatives.
Organized by the Cultural Center of Iran in Turkmenistan, the exhibition showcased artworks in calligraphy and gilding by two Iranian specialists - Hadi Seyyedhani for calligraphy and Fatemeh Parastande Hiyah for gilding.
During the exhibition's opening ceremony, Navid Rasouli, cultural advisor at the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan, announced that this year's exhibition would be distinctive due to the inclusion of a master class and the participation of specialists from Iran.
Head of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, Charymyrat Yazmyradov, expressed gratitude for the invitation to participate in the exhibition and expressed hope for organizing a joint exhibition of artists in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The exhibition and master class at the Cultural Center of Iran in Turkmenistan will run for four days until April 7th.
