Today, a telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The leader of the friendly nation congratulated the head of Turkmenistan on his birthday, wishing him good health, happiness, and great success in his multifaceted work for the prosperity of Turkmenistan and the well-being of the Turkmen people.
On this occasion, President Mirziyoyev also extended his warm greetings to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, recognizing his significant personal contribution to strengthening and advancing the comprehensive development of intergovernmental relations.
Expressing gratitude for the congratulations and kind wishes, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the high level of relations between the two countries.
It was noted that Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan successfully cooperate both bilaterally and within international organizations. The similarity of views on key global and regional issues provides a strong foundation for coordinating efforts on the international stage.
The two leaders emphasized that Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation spans a wide range of areas, including agriculture, energy, the oil and gas sector, the chemical industry, and more.
Additionally, productive interaction between the regions of both countries and the steady development of interparliamentary ties were noted.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also underscored the effectiveness of cooperation in cultural and humanitarian fields, particularly in education, science, and healthcare.
Taking the opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan thanked his Uzbek counterpart for his personal efforts in fostering good-neighborly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the conclusion of the conversation, both President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished each other good health and further success in their important state duties.
