The Nagmat Daýhan farming enterprise is preparing to establish large-scale production and processing of fruit and vegetable crops in the near future. This initiative aims to improve operational efficiency and expand the range of products offered. The news was reported in the Saturday edition of the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The enterprise, located in the Magtymguly district of Balkan province, was founded by experienced horticulturist Berdimyrat Nagmatov. With state support for Turkmenistan’s agricultural sector, he was allocated a substantial plot of land for orchard development. Currently, fruit trees occupy 450 hectares, with plans to double the area in the future.

Nagmat Daýhan cultivates apples, pears, figs, and grapes. Harvesting takes place from late summer to early autumn, with each tree yielding between 25 and 30 kilograms of fruit. The produce is in demand both in local and international markets.

Processing the harvested fruits at an industrial scale allows the fresh produce to be transformed into a variety of finished goods, including juices, jams, canned products, and dried fruits. This approach helps extend shelf life, reduce waste, and ensure broader use in the food industry and commercial trade.
