Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan met Thursday in Ashgabat with Serbian Minister of International Economic Cooperation Nenad Popovic to discuss strengthening contacts between the business communities of the two countries, the chamber said.
The talks focused on opportunities to expand trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Serbia, as well as priority areas of mutual interest.
Both sides expressed interest in further developing business dialogue and confirmed their readiness to continue practical cooperation.
The meeting followed talks held Dec. 11, 2025, between Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbanov and Popovic, who visited Ashgabat to take part in events marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality and the International Day of Neutrality.
