Turkmenistan is participating in the two-day B5+1 business forum that opened Feb. 4, 2026, in Bishkek. The event brings together representatives of the five Central Asian countries — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan — and the United States to discuss regional economic cooperation, according to 24.kg.
The forum brings together senior government officials from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the United States, as well as heads of business associations, representatives of international companies, financial institutions and the expert community.
The forum is organized by the Center for International Private Enterprise, or CIPE, in cooperation with the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers and is evolving from a one-time gathering into a long-term multilateral process aimed at strengthening dialogue between the public and private sectors.

Participants are expected to discuss improving the business and investment climate, development of agriculture, tourism, the financial and banking sector, transport, e-commerce and IT, as well as cooperation on critical minerals. The program includes panel discussions and open dialogue sessions, with B5+1 working group leaders presenting updated regional business agendas.
B5+1 is the business counterpart to the C5+1 diplomatic platform. It provides a framework for joint work by businesses and government authorities of Central Asia and the United States on investment, innovation and economic growth in the region.
