Turkmenistan produced 76.5271 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 8.3823 million metric tons of oil in 2025, Dovletgeldi Amanmuhammedov, chairman of the State Committee of Statistics of Turkmenistan, said Friday at an expanded Cabinet of Ministers meeting, according to the country’s official media.
Compared with 2024, production of diesel fuel rose 9.8% in 2025, gasoline increased 6.2%, kerosene 5.4%, petroleum bitumen 26.4%, liquefied hydrocarbon gases 5.2%, cement 40.9%, rebar and metal products 22.3%, confectionery products 10.1%, sausage products 7.3%, pasta products 5%, and butter 2.9%, Amanmuhammedov said.
According to the report, the value of industrial output during the period increased 11% for cotton yarn and 16.7% for cotton fabrics.
Amanmuhammedov said that in 2025, freight turnover across all modes of transport rose 3.7%, while passenger turnover increased 5.3%. The volume of communications services grew 19.6%.
In agriculture, production rose year over year by 11.8% for vegetables, 11.7% for melons and gourds, 4.7% for potatoes, 8% for eggs, and 2.1% for milk. Positive results were also recorded in the nonstate sector of the economy in 2025, the report said.
At the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that in 2026, 30 residential buildings and numerous retail and service facilities will be commissioned in Ashgabat’s Parahat-7 residential complex, 46 modern residential buildings will open in the Buzmeyin district, and 127 two-story cottages will be commissioned in the capital.
