British automaker Land Rover is exploring opportunities to enter Turkmenistan’s automotive market. The development emerged during talks between company representatives and the Turkmen delegation at the UK–Turkmenistan B2B Exchange business mission held Tuesday in London, according to the organizers.
The Turkmen delegation also held meetings with Primark, University of Cambridge, UKTAG and Advantix Ltd. Each organization focused on specific areas of cooperation. Primark is considering partnership opportunities in the textile sector, UKTAG in agricultural technologies, Advantix Ltd in tourism development, and the University of Cambridge in educational and academic partnerships. Targeted negotiations on these areas are already underway as part of the business matchmaking program.
On the same day, the Turkmen delegation visited UK Construction Week London 2026, one of the United Kingdom’s largest construction industry events, taking place at ExCeL London from May 12 to 14. The exhibition features six specialized sectors, including construction materials, machinery and equipment, services, digital technologies and artificial intelligence in construction, modular solutions, as well as solar energy and energy storage systems.
This year’s event has brought together more than 600 exhibitors, over 700 speakers and upwards of 25,000 participants. The participation of the Turkmen delegation provides access to modern construction technologies and expands opportunities to establish new international partnerships in one of the country’s priority economic sectors.
