Crude oil exports from Central Asia averaged 245,000 barrels per day in April, up by 19,000 barrels compared with March and by 10,000 barrels year-on-year, according to OPEC’s June Monthly Oil Market Report.

Most Kazakh crude continues to be shipped via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal on the Black Sea. Shipments through the route remained stable in April at 1.6 million barrels per day, about 5% lower than a year earlier.

Exports via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, which also carries crude from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, stood at 541,000 barrels per day in April. Although this marked a decline of 47,000 barrels from March, the route continued to play a stable role in regional supply flows.

Overall, combined oil exports from Russia and Central Asia were steady at 6.6 million barrels per day in April, a slight increase of less than 1% from March, according to the OPEC report.
