The total volume of cashless transactions using bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 11 billion 396 million 902 thousand manats in January–July 2026, according to the electronic journal Bank habarlary published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Payments made via terminals during the period totaled 9 billion 14 million 675 thousand manats.
According to the Central Bank, payments conducted through the e-commerce system exceeded 1 billion 848 million 161 thousand manats in January–July, while transactions via the mobile banking system surpassed 56 million 951 thousand manats.
The total volume of cashless payments carried out through ATMs exceeded 313 million 935 thousand manats, while transactions via the internet banking system amounted to more than 5 million 198 thousand manats.
More than 157 million 981 thousand manats in cashless payments were processed through the Halkbank terminal system, according to the report.
