President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov plans to visit Kazan on June 23 on a one-day visit, where he will take part in the annual Sabantuy festival, "Tatar-inform" news agency reports.
During the visit of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Tatarstan, he will meet with Rustam Minnikhanov in the Kazan Kremlin.
“Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, will be our distinguished guest. He will come, and we want to show the races with the third number,”says the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Hazipov.
The third races will be called “Golden Argamak”. They will be attended by Akhal-Teke horses launched on the territory of modern Turkmenistan thousands of years ago.
“These are riding breeds - Akhal-Teke, amazingly beautiful horses. We collected them from all over Russia. There is one such horse in the Timerkhan club in Tatarstan, and a total of 13 horses will participate in the race. We invited them from Dagestan, the Moscow Region, and Stavropol. The distance is 1200 meters,” Hazipov added.
The last time President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Kazan on a working visit was on July 6 last year.
