A quadrilateral working meeting on the Caspian Sea–Black Sea International Transport Corridor project was held in a video conference format on Thursday.
The representatives of the foreign affairs ministries, other relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Romania attended the session.
The meeting participants discussed the issues regarding the increase of cargo transportations via the ports of Turkmenbashy, Baku, Poti, Batumi and Constanta, and the stimulation of cooperation with all the stakeholders, including the European Union.
The sides noted the global nature and perspectives of the transport corridor for the further development of economic partnership, production and energy cooperation, trade and investments, and discussed the opportunities for introduction of digital technologies and informational data exchange system.
The parties underlined the importance of establishing mutually beneficial contacts in logistics field, ensuring stable cargo transportation in various directions.
