During a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov briefed on the establishment of domestic production of electronics and electrical equipment - goods imported into the country from abroad, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports.
Particularly, the Deputy Prime Minister informed about the plans to open a branch of the Agzybirlik Tilsimaty joint venture of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan in Turkmenabat city of Lebap velayat.
Gylyjov added that the production of tuners and payment terminals will be established in Ahal velayat with the Türkmen-Innowasiýa Individual Enterprise and in Dashoguz velayat with the Türkmen-Tranzit Economic Society.
He also informed about the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of information systems and software engineering.
Established in October 2018, Agzybirlik Tilsimaty is the domestic manufacturer of educational computers that are presented to first-graders at the beginning of each academic year. By the end of the year, the company plans to launch the production of monoblocks. The company also has the capacity to establish the production of tablets and server equipment.
