Turkmenabat Silk Production Association has produced seven million square meters of cotton and about a quarter of a million square meters of silk fabrics since the beginning of the year, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Thursday.
The enterprise also produced over 50 tons of silk yarn, which is in high demand in foreign markets. In addition, the plant increased the production of silk carpets by more than 40% compared to the same period last year.
The largest textile enterprise in Turkmenistan’s Lebap velayat has expanded its range of products with new types of fabrics. The company's specialists developed a line of products in original color and texture palettes, taking into account customer demand and launched the new production.
According to the report, Turkmenabat Silk Production Association is effectively looking for measures to improve the quality and expand the range of products. This is facilitated by the professional skill of the team, an effective marketing strategy and high-tech equipment.
