Ýüpek Ýoly Gurluşyk Economic Society is building a large livestock farm, designed for 1200 heads of cattle, in Ruhubelent etrap in Turkmenistan’s northern velayat of Dashoguz.
The company owns Şawat OJSC, which is one of the largest manufacturers of dairy products in Turkmenistan, the country’s official media reported on Thursday.
For the construction of the farm, the state allocated 600 hectares of land for the long-term use to the company. Ýüpek Ýoly Gurluşyk builds the complex of necessary structures on 17 hectares of the land. The construction of two premises for keeping animals is completed and the construction of milking parlor and the maternity pen of the farm is underway, according to the report.
The rest of the land area is intended for stage-by-stage development for the fodder base. To date, the harvests of alfalfa, fodder corn and other plants are already obtained from 250 hectares of land. The company will put into circulation another 100 hectares of area this year.
Ýüpek Ýoly Gurluşyk ES specializes in the construction of engineering communications in the Dashoguz velayat. After the commissioning of the livestock farm, the company will annually supply consumers with 100 tons of milk and 300 tons of meat.
