Gazprom, the Russian state energy company, by 2030 intends to increase natural gas production by 23% and exports by 33% compared to 2019, the Russian Oil and Gas Vertical magazine reported on Tuesday with reference to the press conference of the Deputy Chairman of the company’s board Oleg Aksyutin.

In 2019, Gazprom's production and exports amounted to 500 billion cubic meters, and 199 billion cubic meters, respectively. The company’s indicators may increase to 615 billion cubic meters and 265 billion cubic meters, respectively, by 2030.

The development of a unique resource base and the implementation of key investment projects will ensure the growth of supplies to the domestic and foreign markets, according to Aksyutin.

As the world’s leading gas producer, Gazprom accounts for 12% of the global gas output and 68% of gas production in Russia.
