Turkmenistan’s Mähriban Obam Exports Over 7 Thousand Tons of Tomatoes
The greenhouse complex produces ecologically clean high quality tomatoes and exports them to the domestic and foreign markets.

Mähriban Obam Individual Enterprise, which operates greenhouse complexes in Sakarchage etrap of Mary velayat, exported 7,298 tons of tomatoes this year, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan said in its Wednesday press release.

The Turkmen tomatoes were reportedly exported from the Mary velayat customs point to countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

The enterprise produces tomato varieties of Altes, Cherry, pink tomato. In the greenhouse, works, including growing plants, organizing the work of workers, and managing production, is carried out using a digital system.

Mähriban Obam IE was founded in 2012 by Bazargeldi Atayev and currently operates greenhouses occupying an area of 8 hectares. The greenhouse complex produces ecologically clean high quality tomatoes and exports them to the domestic and foreign markets.

In April 2021, The Halal Dogan Individual Enterprise located in Mary velayat, with the assistance of the Vienna office of the UIET, exported Turkmen tomatoes to Vienna.
