Turkmenistan Expected to Provide Financial Assistance to Businesses
The Turkmen President also instructed to increase the pace of work carried out by the UIET members, underlining that they will continue to receive appropriate support.

In order to stimulate entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan, the government will develop additional measures for state support of the private sector of the economy, provision of financial and logistical assistance to develop small and medium-sized businesses, in particular those specializing in tourism activities.

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the online cabinet meeting on Friday gave the instructions on the development of relevant measures to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Chary Gylyjov, the country’s official media reports.

The Vice-Premier Chary Gylyjov briefed on the performance of the ministries and departments of trade and textile complexes, as well as the business sector over 11 months of the year.

Following the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed specific instruction to the Vice-Premier on further increase of production of consumer goods.

As the winter comes, it is necessary to keep under constant control the supply of various goods and products to the markets and stores of the country and to prevent the rise in prices, the Head of State said and gave relevant instructions to the Vice-Premier.

The Turkmen President also instructed to increase the pace of work carried out by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, underlining that they will continue to receive appropriate support.

The Head of State emphasized the necessity of creating large technology companies and firms equipped with the latest high-performance equipment and innovative technologies, capable of self-financing and solving issues of development of individual industries, addressing specific instructions to the Vice-Premier.

The cabinet meeting also discussed other important state issues and considered the drafts of certain documents.
