Turkmen confectionary producer Datly Şerbet, a subsidiary of the Täze Aý Önümleri Economic Society, opened its new confectionary factory with a cardboard shop for the production of packaging containers in Mary district of Mary province.
The factory together with the packaging unit was built by Täze Aý Önümleri company. The new building is equipped with modern machinery and includes a fully automated production line for the production of confectionery products, the official Turkmen media reported on Monday.
The new factory has the capacity to produce 15 thousand tons of confectionery products a year. Out of this amount, 50% to 60% will go to the domestic market, and the rest 40-50% of the sweets is expected to be exported.
At the opening stage, the main production provided jobs for almost 200 people, while the cardboard shop provided employment for 60 specialists.
