The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Wednesday trades registered a deal on the procurement of hydrotreated diesel fuel for a total of $3.2 million.
The Afghan Business purchased 3.1 thousand tons of the fuel at the auction. The price for a ton of the product amounted to 1,057, the SCRMET announced on Thursday.
The hydrotreated diesel fuel was produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries in the Balkan province of Turkmenistan.
Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $17.775 million.
Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
