Trades at Turkmen Exchange For March First Week: $4.7 Million
Businesses from Afghanistan, Turkey and the UAE bought liquefied gas, technical sulfur, polypropylene and dried, unrefined sorghum in foreign currency.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) over the past week amounted to more than $4.7 million, the country’s official media reported on Monday.

Businesses from Afghanistan, Turkey and the UAE bought liquefied gas, technical sulfur, polypropylene and dried, unrefined sorghum in foreign currency.

For the domestic market, local businesses bought base oil-SN600 worth 4.6 million manats.

Last week, 14 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Established in 1994, SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
