Guwlyduz Plant Awarded International Environmental Certificates
The salt produced at the Guwlyduz plant meets high standards.

The factories and plants of Turkmenistan are capable of producing high-quality, environmentally friendly products that meet global standards in all respects. This has been demonstrated by the products manufactured at the Guwlyduz plant of the "Turkmenhimiýa" (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern in the Turkmenbashi district of Balkan province.

Recently, the plant received several prestigious certifications: the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certificate, the ISO 13485 Quality Management System Certificate, and the ISO 9001 Production Management System Certificate for salt production.

The eco-friendly, pure, high-quality products branded "Made in Turkmenistan" are in great demand both domestically and internationally. The iodized salt produced at the plant helps prevent iodine deficiency in the human body and strengthens the immune system.

In 2019, a new modern workshop with a design capacity of 40,000 tons of iodized salt and over 2,000 tons of technical salt tablets was commissioned at the plant. The production process is fully automated and mechanized, easing the challenging work of salt miners.

The primary criteria are the product's environmental friendliness and excellent quality. Initially, the raw material is purified of impurities, processed to the required state, crystallized, iodized, and thoroughly tested in the laboratory. After these processes, the salt becomes a commercial product and is sent in colorful packaging to the finished goods warehouse.

Salt is a popular product, sold to the population and exported. It is well-known that table salt is an indispensable ingredient in any dish. The salt produced at the Guwlyduz plant meets high standards. The fact that salt from the bottom of Lake Guwlyduz meets international quality standards indicates that the chemical industry of the national economy has reached a new stage of development.
