Turkmenistan Produces Paper From Agricultural, Textile Waste
Paper production

As part of the State Program for Import Substitution, Turkmenistan has established the production of paper products from domestic raw materials, specifically agricultural waste and recycled textile materials. This initiative enables the complete manufacturing of paper products using local resources. The paper produced has a brightness of over 85 percent and is primarily used for premium-quality books and paper. Notably, cotton-based paper is stronger than wood-based paper, leading to plans for collecting and processing harvest waste. This large-scale project will allow for the recycling of around 240,000 tons of agricultural waste, which will not only be used to produce paper but also to extract lignin, widely used in cement and asphalt production.

Today, it is hard to imagine a world without advanced technologies that significantly improve people's quality of life, helping them fully experience the benefits of a comfortable social environment. Consequently, a new industry—electronics manufacturing—and the establishment of production lines for various modern equipment in high consumer demand are of great importance to our economy. Among the production structures in our country actively promoting such products, both domestically and now internationally, is the joint venture Agzybirlik Tilsimaty of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, engaged in the production of computers, laptops, tablets, televisions, mobile phones, split air conditioners, routers, and other digital devices.
