Five leading Dutch companies in greenhouse management, cooling systems, and seed potato cultivation explored partnership opportunities with Turkmen agricultural businesses. The trade mission, organized by East West Trade & Consulting under the leadership of former Dutch ambassador Peter van Leeuwen, operated in Turkmenistan from December 2 to 6, as reported by a Dutch industry portal on Thursday.
The delegation included representatives from Agrotech Didam, Dalsem, Geerlofs, HZPC, and Kubo.
With support from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Brussels, the delegation conducted a busy business program. Dutch specialists visited greenhouse complexes near Ashgabat, where they learned about the cultivation of tomatoes, strawberries, and bananas. They paid special attention to cooling systems and potato farming operations.
