Industrial natural gas flow has started at a new well near the Bowredeshik gas field in Lebap Province, the online Oil and Gas newspaper reported Tuesday.
The Hazarly-3 well, drilled by the Marynebitgazgözleg expedition of the State Corporation Türkmengeologiýa, produces up to 120,000 cubic meters of gas per day. It is the first well at the Hazarly field with confirmed production.
Lebapgazçykaryş exceeded its gas production plan by more than 101% in the first 11 months of 2025, producing over 8.5 billion cubic meters of gas against an annual target of 9.3 billion. Gas exports reached 4.75 billion cubic meters, surpassing the planned 3.37 billion. Gas condensate output also exceeded targets.
In December 2025, specialists commissioned another well at the field, Hazarly-2, also drilled by the Marynebitgazgözleg expedition.
