In spring 2026, Ashgabat will become a focal point for entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of international business. On 18 March, the International Forum for Attracting Investment in the Private Sector, “Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan” (IFT 2026), will take place in the capital of Turkmenistan.
The forum will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and is organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan together with the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in partnership with TMT Consulting Group. Registration is already open, allowing entrepreneurs to plan participation in advance, invite international partners and prepare presentations of investment initiatives.
The development of the private sector, support for entrepreneurial initiatives and the attraction of investment are implemented within the framework of the state economic policy initiated by The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and successfully continued under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
IFT 2026 brings together capital, expertise and business initiatives, creating new opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as foreign companies. Key areas include industry, agribusiness, livestock breeding, farming, logistics, innovation and investment projects within the private sector.
The forum continues the practice of IFT 2025, which demonstrated strong interest from the international business community: more than 500 delegates from 25 countries participated, hundreds of companies were involved, 21 agreements were signed and 187 business meetings were held.
