Turkmen company Aýdyň Gijeler is preparing to launch a large-scale hot-dip galvanizing project, Ruslan Tashov, head of the company’s supply and procurement department, said in an interview with Trend News Agency published Tuesday.
The facility is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of the year and is expected to become one of the largest hot-dip galvanizing plants in the region.
According to Tashov, this type of metal treatment is widely used in the oil and gas sector, as well as in industry and mechanical engineering. The plant’s output will be geared, among other uses, toward projects in the Caspian region’s oil and gas sector.
Initial investment in the project is estimated at around $5 million, with implementation already underway. The plant’s production capacity is expected to exceed 2,000 tons of processed metal per month.
The company is also preparing another project in the metallurgical sector, involving the launch of stainless steel production with a full production cycle and a wide product range aimed at both the domestic market and exports to neighboring countries.
Aýdyň Gijeler is also planning to launch production of next-generation radio terminals for the oil and gas sector in the near future.
