Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the third Central Asian Women Entrepreneurs Forum in the tourism sector, Women in Tourism 2026, held in Nukus, the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The event was reported on Friday by the official website of the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan.
The forum brought together representatives of the tourism industry, government institutions, and business communities from across the region to discuss tourism development, expanded cooperation, and support for women’s entrepreneurship. Particular attention was given to strengthening ties among Central Asian countries and implementing joint tourism projects.
During the event, participants discussed the prospects for developing domestic and international tourism, attracting investment to the sector, and enhancing the tourism appeal of countries across the region. Speakers noted the important role of women entrepreneurs in promoting the tourism potential of their respective countries.
Turkmenistan’s participation in the forum is aimed at strengthening regional cooperation, facilitating the exchange of experience, and promoting the country’s tourism potential on the international stage.
