Turkmen and Georgian companies signed a series of trade agreements and memorandums of understanding following a business forum in Tbilisi held during the visit of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Georgia.
The forum took place at the Expo Georgia exhibition center, where business representatives from the two countries held more than 50 bilateral meetings, according to Turkmen state media.
The event featured a 592-square-meter exhibition showcasing products under the Made in Turkmenistan brand. The display brought together 17 Turkmen ministries and 42 private companies. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze visited the exhibition after addressing business representatives from both countries.
Among the agreements signed were logistics services contracts involving Dowrebap ulag merkezi, export agreements by Tibet turkmen and Sherbetli Ak gar to supply confectionery products to Georgia, a distribution agreement for Gundogar Akymy and an export deal for household chemical products by Tach hil.
The sides also signed memorandums of understanding covering insurance services involving Ygtybarly atiyachlandyrysh and the sale and purchase of construction materials involving Mizemez gadam.
Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Georgia increased by 26% in 2025, exceeding $100 million. The two countries are also discussing the establishment of a Turkmen cargo terminal on Georgia's Black Sea coast.
