Türkiye’s foreign trade with the Turkic states of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan reached $9.4 billion in the first six months of 2026, Turkish news agency Anadolu Ajansı reported, citing data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
During the reporting period, Türkiye exported $5 billion worth of goods to the Turkic states and imported goods worth $4.4 billion.
Türkiye’s exports to the Turkic states totaled $1.5 billion to Kazakhstan, $1.4 billion to Azerbaijan, $945.6 million to Uzbekistan, $594.4 million to Kyrgyzstan and $583.6 million to Turkmenistan.
In recent years, Türkiye has expanded economic cooperation with the Turkic states beyond trade to include energy, transportation and logistics, industry, agriculture and construction.
Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat said Tuesday during the exhibition of export goods from Türkiye in Ashgabat.
Earlier, on February 10, 2026, Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat reported during the exhibition of export goods from Türkiye in Turkmenistan that bilateral trade between Turkmenistan and Türkiye totaled $2.2 billion in 2025.
