Executives of Turkmen company Hazar Logistik and representatives of Austrian international transport and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss GmbH held a business meeting to discuss ways to use the transport and logistics potential of Turkmenbashi International Seaport and Turkmenistan to expand international freight transportation, Hazar Logistik reported on social media.
The meeting was attended by Gebrüder Weiss Project Manager Erwin Rösl and Key Account Manager Johannes Rwaitzner.
The sides discussed opportunities to develop international transport corridors, expand cooperation and organize freight shipments to Central Asian countries through Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
Particular attention was given to transporting cargo arriving at Turkmenbashi port across the Caspian Sea to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries using Turkmenistan's transport and logistics infrastructure.
